Active Capital.
Active Ownership.
Knight Capital is an Australian activist investment firm focused on identifying opportunities where active ownership can change the outcome.
We invest in businesses and assets where we believe operational improvement, strategic involvement and disciplined capital allocation can unlock significant long-term value.
We Invest
Like Owners.
Knight Capital believes some of the most compelling investment opportunities exist where there is a disconnect between the underlying quality of a business or asset and its current performance or valuation.
We are not passive providers of capital.
We seek opportunities where meaningful ownership and active involvement can influence strategy, operations, governance, capital allocation and commercial execution.
Identify
Find businesses and assets where intrinsic value is not reflected in current performance or valuation.
Engage
Take meaningful ownership positions and work constructively with boards, management teams, founders and shareholders.
Create Value
Translate the investment thesis into tangible operational, strategic and financial outcomes.
More Than Capital.
Knight Capital combines an investor's approach to capital allocation with an operator's approach to execution.
We are particularly interested in situations where capital alone is not the solution.
